The Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment, 8431 Germantown Avenue features a variety of activities on a weekly basis including, Bridge, Scrabble, all sorts of exercise and discusion groups.

On Tuesdays, at the air-conditioned Center, Movies are shown on the 63 inch screen. On August 24, the feature will be The Red Shoes, Cinema’s quintessential backstage drama, and a glorious Technicolor visual feast. Moira Shearer is a rising star ballerina romantically torn between an idealistic composer and a ruthless impresario intent on perfection. The movie features outstanding performances, beautiful cinematography, Oscar-winning sets and music, and an unforgettable dance sequence. Movies begin at 1:00 o’clock.Trips are planned for Weaver’s Way Farm and to the Reading Phillies before Labor Day. Beginning in September classes in Italian and Spanish will resume as will Computer classes and Folk Dancing.
