Special congratulations to Sean Regan, who swam an impressive 56.94
seconds in the 100 meter LC Butterfly for a Junior National
qualification time!
UDAC also sent a group of athletes to Penn State University on July
28 – 31 for the long course Middle Atlantic Junior Olympic
Championships. The Red Dragon’s 2011 Junior Olympic swimmers
include: Eric Jensen (16), Matthew Jensen (9), Michael Jensen (13),
Adam Kong (14), Scott Luttmann (13), Casey O'Neill (14), Julia
Rodriguez (14), Andy Thomas (11), Michael Thomas (13).
Middle Atlantic Zone Team qualification times were achieved
throughout the season by the following team members: Matthew Jensen
(50 free/200 free/50 fly/50 back/100 back) , Michael Jenson (100 free/
200 free/100 fly/200 fly), Jenna Johns (50 fly/100 fly/50 free/100
free/200 free), Casey O’Neill (100 free/200 free/200 IM/400 IM),
Julia Rodriguez (100 fly/200 fly), Michael Thomas (100 back/200 back/
200 free/200 IM/400 IM).
The team plans to enjoy the rest of the summer in and out of the
