Four Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) students were chosen to compete in state festivals by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA). The students advanced through district and regional festivals before receiving the PMEAs highest honor. The students are (l to r) senior Julia Campbell (Orchestra, flute), junior Joshua rosen (Chorus, tenor), junior Charlie Tabachnick (Band, tenor saxophone) and senior Ajibola Rivers (Orchestra, cello). Campbell also was accepted into the Music Educators National Conference (MENC) All-Eastern Band. The honor means she was among the top flutists within 13 states in the mid-Atlantic region. Campbell is thought to be the first PWHS student named to the All-Eastern Band.
