The Rotary Club of Ambler recently recognized three local citizens for service to the community. Above, Martin Brown (center), President and CEO of Ambler Savings Bank accepts the Paul Harris Fellowship from Ambler Rotary president Maria Kim and Master of Ceremonies Rotarian Bob King. Also honored with the the Paul Harris Fellowship were Charles T. "Bud" Wahl, mayor of Ambler Borough and David W. Caddick, owner of Caddick Construction Company, Inc. These prestigious awards, in honor of Rotarian Paul Harris who founded Rotary in 1905 in Chicago, were presented at a June luncheon meeting at the William Penn Inn. Nominees for this award are taken from all community members, not only Rotary members. |
