Greenmarsh Seminar Series

The Greenmarsh Seminar Series will be offering another seminar on Tuesday, September 21st. This educational outreach effort will provide environmentally friendly landscape designs and guidance focused on stormwater issues, stream bank erosion and general “green” landscaping practices. The Greenmarsh Series aspires to enhance habitat surrounding our water sources, beautify properties and improve water quality. The seminar will be provided free of charge at the Township Building. Touch-a-Truck

Trucks, trucks and more trucks! Join Whitemarsh Parks & Recreation at Miles Park on Saturday, October 2nd, for their Fourth Annual Touch-A- Truck event. Take an up-close look at many of the Township vehicles from the fleets of the Police and Fire Departments, an Ambulance, Public Works vehicles and also a few surprises.



Latin Dance Cardio Explosion

Beginning on Friday, September 17, at 12:00 noon, you can get your weekend started early. And, with the help of Whitemarsh Parks & Rec, blast away a few extra calories. A new program, Latin Dance Cardio Explosion is sure to be more fun that exercise. Stretch, exercise and dance to the sound of Latin rhythms while getting a great cardio workout. Basic Skate

Kids over the age of 9, will soon have the opportunity to learn the basics of skateboarding. Two free, one day clinics, at the Miles Park Basketball Courts, will cover which board is right for you, how to take care of your board, your stance, safety, and product knowledge. Pre-registration is a must!The first clinic will be held on Sunday, September 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, followed by a second session on September 26th. Club 45

Fourth and fifth grade students are invited to join Whitemarsh Parks & Recreation for the return of Club 45. Club 45 offers Friday nights with DJ and dancing, fun and games at the Parks & Rec Building on Joshua Rd.. The first date of the new season will be September 10th. the fun begins at 7:30 pm.
