The Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra is proud to introduce the Board for their 2010-2011 season. Officers this year are the Honorable Judge Maurino J. Rossanese, Jr. President, Vice President for Marketing, R. Wilson Nagle; Vice President of Finance Donald Hill; Secretary Joan Kulaga and Treasurer Robert J. Kerns, Esq. with Brittany Tressler. New to the board this year are George Bruno and Laurie Cipolla. Re-elected board members are William H. Bradbury III, Esq., Donald Hill, Robert F. Slota, Jr., Esq., Karel Wilkins and Walter D. Willihnganz, MD. Continuing board member is F. Lee Mangan.
There have also been exciting administrative changes as well. Allan R. Scott’s contract has been extended to the 2013 season as Music Director. The newly created position of General Manager has been awarded to Frank Ciccitto.
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1972 to provide performances of the highest level while entertaining and educating audiences. They are equally dedicated to outreach and education. The Symphony sponsors the Pre-Concert Conductor’s Crash Courses, Young Artists Competitions, and Kid Konductors!
Over the past several seasons, audiences have grown in record numbers. This new board with some members who have been involved for 30 years is truly excited about this upcoming season.
The first concert is on Saturday, October 9th at 8 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 S. Valley Forge Rd. Lansdale, Pa 19446. You may purchase tickets at the door for $25 adults and $5 for students. Season tickets are $110 in advance for five concerts and for seniors 65 and older they are $85.
