Marilyn Monroe at Springfield Library Movie expert Paul Sofian always attracts a large following when he visits the Free Library of Springfield Township. His movie trivia expertise is unparalleled and his programs are interactive and informative. Sofian returns to the library at 2 pm on Sunday, September 12th with “Marilyn Monroe - the Never-ending Dream,” a new, entertaining slide show and his familiar banter. AARP Driver Safety Course Register at the Free Library of Springfield Township for the next driver safety program. AARP will be conducting their driver safety program at the library on September 14th and 15th from 9 am to 1 pm. The cost is twelve dollars for AARP members and fourteen dollars for non-members. Attendance both days is required for certification. A Video Tour of Independence Hall Former Independence Hall Park Ranger Lauren Clair will return to the Free Library of Springfield Township on September 30th at 7:30 pm. She’ll bring with her a Video Tour of Independence Hall and a discussion on the Founding Fathers. Ms. Clair wowed her audience at the library last month with her extensive knowledge and lively chat. This program is appropriate for school aged children as well as adults.
