At the Plymouth Township Community Center a program designed to help
your children fight childhood obesity is gettin underway. Through the
use of weight training, cardiovascular exercise, and nutritional
information during the four-week program your child will lose weight
and gain confidence. Each child will be weighed weekly and given
prizes based on weight lost. Nutrition will be discussed once a
week, topics will include; healthy snack choices and portion
control. Occasionally, healthy food samples will be given out for
children to try. In this program, kids will be using the Community
Center’s Active Zone equipment and other various exercise equipment.
BMI Busters is designed for children age 7 to 14. For detailed
