Springfield Township School District launched their Academics and Athletics in Motion (AIM) camp this summer. Students completing grades K-8th grade enrolled for summer fun with certified teachers. Students participate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-2pm in a range of activities from soap carving and mosaic art to boot camp and survival skills. Camp started on July 5th and already students have created animals from soap, online photoediting galleries, and a wilderness shelter! Students have also practiced gymnastics, increased their fitness level with skills and drills, and learned about Native American culture. Students have been overheard saying "I love this camp!" As well as making plans together to sign up for additional sessions. Camp runs until August 11th. Late enrollment is still open at aimsdst.ticketleap.com, camp is $38 per day and parents can select as few or as many days as they like. Please email lauren_davis@sdst.org with any questions or call 215-233-6070.
