At its regular meeting on August 20th, the Ambler Kiwanis Club will
honor Wissahickon High School student, Tyler Leard will be
recognized. Leard recently won a national scholarship award of $5000
for placing second in a competitive contest that included thousands
of students from all over the country. The subject was the Civil War.
The club decided to recognize the accomplishment of this young
student as a show of appreciation for his initiative in getting
involved, his obvious interest and the studious approach hee took in
researching this vital segment of American History. They will also
congratulate him on his exemplary educational achievement.
