Allie DeMichele, 10, will start the 5th grade at Maple Glen Elementary School in September. Her new school year will begin with a new hair style.
After reading a story in a recent edition of The Enterprise, about a girl who donated hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, Allie decided to make a donation of her own. Pantene’s program makes real-hair wigs for women who are undergoing cancer treatments. With hair loss a devastating side effect for many cancer patients, a wig can sometimes offer a bit of comfort to those with the disease.
Allie’s mother, Stacey, contacted Ambler Stylist, Lisa Palermo at “A Cut Above” and Allie’s “long beautiful golden curls” are now ten inches shorter.
